So he goes to learn how to kill the kraken from the fates. Perseus takes matters into his own hands by setting out to kill the kraken so he can marry Andromeda. Thetis says that Andromeda has to die a virgin by the hands of the kraken. But everyone knows that Achilles was Thetis’s best son. Perseus tries to marry Andromeda but Thetis interrupts the wedding saying that Cassiopeia, the mother of Andromeda, dissed her and her son, Calibos. Perseus then follows the vulture with Pegasus until they land in Dagobah, home of Yoda and where Andromeda’s goes and chills with her ex-boyfriend Calibos who was turned into some sort of ugly Satyr wolf man by Zeus. It seems like a lot but it’s surprisingly easy to follow. Perseus captures Pegasus and flies around. Mickey from the Rocky movies chills with Perseus and watches a white horse with fake wings run down a green screen. A huge vulture takes Andromeda’s spirit away.
Then Perseus stalks a sleeping Andromeda. He wakes up in a theatre and weapons appear overnight. After the beginning scene with the kraken and Zeus and Perseus’s naked mom, Perseus jumps ahead in time to become a grown man. There was a lot of nudity in classical mythology.
I mean, if you’re going to degrade mythology at least try to look good doing it-at least there is nudity in this movie, which actually reflect the whole idea of mythology pretty well. This kraken is like a green merman stegosaurus monkey with 4 arms. The kraken doesn’t even look right, it’s like supposed to be some octopus thing. Oh Hollywood, oh Beverley Cross, you guys messed up. You can’t combine Classical and Norse myths, it doesn’t work, it makes no sense. I thought it couldn’t get more confusing, but then they introduced the kraken. This movie should be called Perseus, there’s no Clash of the Titans here, Perseus was a man, not a Titan. The Titans were led by Atlas, but one of the Titans, Prometheus, aided Zeus because he knew of the Titans fate. The real Clash of the Titans is based on the Titanomachia, which was the epic battle in the Classical Cosmogony in which the Titans battle Zeus and hurled rocks up Mount Olympus in attack. Now there is a big-budget remake that recently hit theatres. Clash of the Titans is, needless to say, an epic movie from 1981.

Clash of the Titans Free Movie Download HD. His interaction with the humans who accompany him on his journey is probably the most entertaining part of the film. He serves his purpose as Perseus, playing the action hero well enough. He was good in Terminator Salvation and he’s good in this as well (despite the occasional slip-up of his accent). Having not seen Sam Worthington in anything prior to this film (except Terminator Salvation), I don’t really have anything to compare his acting to. If you’re expecting anything more than that, then yes, you will probably be disappointed. Some of the cast manage to make the most of what they’re given to work with. To quote Sam Worthington from various interviews, it’s basically him “in a skirt with a rubber sword, killing monsters”. I wasn’t originally planning on seeing this new updated version either. He discovers that the way to kill the Kraken lies with getting the head of the gorgon Medusa.I’ve never seen the 1981 original version of Clash of the Titans. Perseus accepts the challenge because Hades was responsible for his family’s death. A desperate King Cepheus asks demi-god Perseus to find a way to defeat the Kraken. The vengeful god of the underworld, Hades, demands that Andromeda is offered as a sacrifice or he will unleash the Kraken against Argos. Princess Andromeda is the daughter of King Cepheus, who has gained a victory against the gods.
